This is the first assignment I ever did using Google sketch-up. For the first task I created 3 different shapes using the rectangle tool, the line tool and the circle tool. Then for the second task I created another set of shapes and changed the standard view to iso. Then I used the push/pull tool to extend the shapes and make them 3-D figures. For the next task I used the skills I just learned to create my name in 3-D. I made a rectangle for each letter (6 boxes) and then I used the line tool to create the       shapes of my name. Then I used the eraser to erase the extra lines. I changed the standard view to iso and used the push/pull tool to create a 3-D effect.

       For this project the first thing I did for each tool was create a 2D rectangle on the x-axis plane. Then I made it a 3D figure by using the push/pull tool. Then I created a rectangle to the precise measurements given using the guide tool and using the push/pull to change the dimensions of the rectangle. In blocks 5-8 I also used the dimension tool to make sure the shapes were accurate. In blocks 9-12 I used the color tool. Al flat lateral faces were one color and slopes were mixed colors of the sides based on how the shape is viewed. 

Task 23

For the house we followed a tutorial that involved using tools that we never used before like the protractor. We were able to chose how to color and furnish the house. I used 3D warehouse on Google sketch-up to add the furniture.







Task 24 

For this assignment I first chose a destination for my house. I chose a place in Jamaica. Then I copied a picture of my house into the destination. Then I made a copy of the picture. For one picture I turned off the red color and for the copy I turned off the blue and yellow. Then I moved the red picture a little to creating the 3D effect.

Task 25 

For the power button we use dhow to make an animation. I followed a tutorial to create the button. Adobe Photoshop allows you to create an animation by pressing window and going to animation. I learned that in animation you can not move something in on frame without it affecting movement. That is why the title also moves.








Task 26

For this task we followed a tutorial to make the room. The hardest part of the room was adding a liner gradient to the light. It was hard to do because we had to utilize a tool that we learned in task 17 but once I remembered, it was easy to complete. Because we needed to get multiple shots of one item, I decided to go with sneakers. I chose a pair of purple Jordans.




Task 27

   For this assignment I created a brochure for my school Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics. In the brochure I showed my schedule at my school from zero period to eighth. I created the brochure using publisher and I got the pictures from Google.
